ERF - European Robotics Forum (2023)
SDU Robotic hosted the European Robotics Forum in March 2023 in Odense. 1000 guests from the international robot industry, organisations and universities visited Odense city, hosting the event for the second time.

LSP - Large Structure Production Center funding secured (2022)
SDU and its partners have secured 88 million DKK in funding for the establishment of the Large Structure Production center at the Port of Odense in Lindø. The funding is part of an investment by the Danish Board of Business Development into the Funen Business Hub. Additional funding is expected in the next 5 years of around 200 million DKK.
LSP is focused on developing technologies and solutions for large scale production of elements for building ships, bridges, buildings, etc.
- The centre on Lindø may be essential in ensuring sustainable and digital development and research in several areas that form the foundation of our society. It is about the energy sector, the maritime sector and not least the construction industry, says Christian Schlette.
Partner companies include Inrotech, focused on robotic welding of large scale elements, and COBOD, a company producing 3D printed buildings.

CCR - The Centre for Clinical Robotics (2021)
The Centre for Clinical Robotics (CCR) is a research and innovation centre for robot technology in healthcare with the aim to boost and target projects at Odense University Hospital (OUH) that involve robot technology, in particular to benefit patients and staff the most.
CCR is a joint centre between OUH and the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). It is quite unique - also in an international context - to have such a close link between an engineering faculty and a hospital. Here, researchers and clinical staff can investigate and develop the use of robots and technology for improved treatment and workflows in close physical proximity and dialogue with each other.

From idea to prototype in just four weeks (2020)
A team of researchers from the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute has managed to create the World's First Automatic Swab robot in just four weeks. Now, the company Lifeline Robotics is to bring it to the market in record time.
