Research Week

Join us in Week 44 to celebrate health research at OUH and the Department of Clinical Research. This week also includes the annual awards ceremony of the Department of Clinical Research.

Are you interested in the latest knowledge and treatments for conditions in the brain, heart, bones, or cancer? Do you want to explore research on paediatric diseases or understand more about global research initiatives? Or maybe you’re keen on discovering advancements in medical education research?

From 29th to 31st October, OUH and the Department of Clinical Research will host the annual Research Week, featuring inspiring presentations from distinguished national and international health researchers.

 

Who Can Attend?

The event is open to employees and students from hospitals within the Region of Southern Denmark, the University of Southern Denmark, and our partners in Region Zealand. Participants from all professional backgrounds are welcome.

 

Cost

Participation in the events is free, but registration is required.

Themes

10-12 - Medical Education Research

14-16 - Cancer

Topics include Lung Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, MEN1 Syndrome, PITAC Treatment, Home Treatment, Quality of Life, and Pain Management

16:30-18:30 - The Brain

Topics include Parkinson's disease, dementia, autoimmune encephalitis, and injuries resulting from epileptic seizures.

14:00-16:00 - Research in an International Context

16:30-18:30 - The Heart

Topics include atrial fibrillation, the impact of doping, AI for medical imaging, and more.

14-16 - Pediatrics

Topics include congenital malformations, premature births, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, and more.

16:30-18:30 - Bones

Topics include osteoporosis, rare bone diseases, and the impact of gut hormones on bone tissue.
