Seminar on Ecological Economics
Location: DBM lunchroom. Economics, as we know it today, does not live up to everyone’s expectations. It relies on an insatiable hunger for endless growth, producing rampant inequality across the globe, with widespread harm on the environment. In this talk, I will discuss how humanity can address these challenges through an alternative approach to economic thinking, one in which economics can come to play a more constructive part in solving some of the greatest problems we experience in this age: ecological preservation.
