Maritime Technology

Maritime Technology’s core area is to develop methods and models that can be applied to the maritime sector. Our focus is on sustainable ship operation and ship construction, with particular emphasis on energy efficiency, vibration analysis, and fatigue. The research takes its methodological offset in the technical science, but the group also aims at creating interdisciplinary research.

Co-operation

We provide collaboration with the maritime industry through research projects and research-based consultancy. We ensure that research results flow between the university, industry and maritime academies.
Maritime Technology is dedicated to exchanging knowledge, expertise and competences with society and authorities through our participation in advisory boards, technical networks, and committees.
