SDU Innovation and Design Engineering is offering the educational programmes :
Bachelor level
BSc in Product Development and Innovation enables students to develop innovative solutions for the problems of the future. They learn to develop products with a focus on innovation, sustainability and digitalisation. Products are not just physical things, but a solution to a target groups’ needs, developed with an understanding of the business to make it happen.
BEng in Integrated Design combines a creative and technical approach to product development. The students work with Design Thinking and processes, technical drawings, construction, materials and computer-aided design simulation.
Master level
MSc in Product Development and Innovation is an interdisciplinary study programme with special emphasis on the interaction of technology and social sciences with the surrounding world. The master programme integrates scientific analytical skills in design engineering with technology and innovation management in product and service system development and innovation processes. Students will learn the importance of both technology push and demand/market need pull for innovation to happen.
