Mission (the purpose of KMA’s/FKM’s research)
KMA’s research aims to fight infectious diseases in humans by providing tools and knowledge that can prevent, diagnose and treat infectious diseases.
We work to create new knowledge which immediately - or in the longer run - can benefit individuals and society locally and globally.
Our research aims at treatment and prevention of infectious diseases in hospitals and the surrounding society.
Our research contributes to create an inspiring working environment to attract and keep competent employees and researchers in our department.
Our research contributes to ensure the quality of the operational tasks of the department and contributes to ensure that the department is an attractive collaborator to other departments and institutions.
Vision
The Research Unit of Clinical Microbiology wants to be known for our innovative research, which is executed in multidisciplinary collaborations and is of value to both patients, citizens, and society.
