Quantum materials

Research introduction

Quantum materials is an umbrella term in condensed matter physics that encompasses all materials which properties can be properly interpreted only in terms of quantum mechanics rather than classical physics.

Our research efforts are devoted to exploring and unravelling exotic electron excitations in quantum materials, which root in the quantum coupling between different properties of electrons and can be used to engineer radically new devices for potential applications.
