Center student programmers wins price

Two of the Centers' student programmers Almir Mehanovic and Emil Rømer has received the Danfoss price 'The Engineers of Tomorrow' and a scholarship of DKK 50,000. They received the price for creating a website to visualize data and follow energy consumption in cities public buildings. The online system collects energy and water consumption data from 550 public buildings in the Municipality of Odense making it possible to detect any defects at an early stage and thereby save money and energy.

The price is given by the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation to talented students within engineering who has shown that they can think in new ways and be innovative and solution oriented in a digital age.

Both Almir and Emil are Software Engineering students at SDU.
