EnovHeat - Project and steering group Meeting and Workshop
On the 9th and 10th April 2014 steering committee members from the project EnovHeat meat at SDU for a steering committee meeting and a joint workshop.
The steering committee members had a productive two days at SDU with a steering committee meeting the first day followed by a workshop on day two.
Workshop:
The workshop focused on Active Magnetocaloric Regenerator(AMR) development. It was initiated by an inspirational talk by Ashok Singh, assistant professor at the Centre for Smart Energy Solutions, SDU. Following Ashoks presentations were presentations on different aspects of AMR development and simulations by project members. A general discussion on the presented topics wraped up the workshop.
Steering Committee meeting:
During the meeting the group was presented with a status on the current project progress and presentation from work packages. The steering committee also decided to be aiming for hosting the leading international conference on magnetocalorics, Thermag 7, in Copenhagen 2016, including a Ph.D. summer school.
The EnovHeat project is focused on development of magnetocaloric heat pump system for residential buildings.
