Collaboration

The research unit is anchored at Odense University Hospital and is part of Department of Clinical Research under the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark

Centre for Clinical Artificial Intelligence is a joint centre between Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The centre has a particularly close collaboration with the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at SDU. CAI-X is anchored in the Department of Clinical Development at OUH.

The centre aims to help connect clinicians from OUH with researchers and engineers at SDU, as well as with both Danish and international private companies and organisations, research centres, councils and other hospitals interested in the use of artificial intelligence in healthcare.

CAI-X often works with its sister centres Centre for Innovative Medical Technology (CIMT) and Centre for Clinical Robotics (CCR).
