The Kingdom’s Arctic Ambassador Erik Lorenzen visited on Monday 30 May the new research group RAS at the SDU Law Department. The seminar took stock of the Kingdom’s experience with the Arctic Council as forum of cooperation. The discussion covered a wide range of issues including the role of human rights in the Arctic, new security challenges and the EU’s future role in regard to the Arctic Council.
The Seminar forms part of the preparations for the international conference RAS organizes in October on the occasion of the Arctic Council’s 20th anniversary. Read more here about this seminar and call for papers.
