Job news: postdoc and PhD positions available
Research literature's uses in relation to climate crisis
The Department of Language, Culture, History and Communication at University of Southern Denmark invites applications for a 2-year postdoctoral position set to begin February 1, 2024. The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to a DFF-funded project (Addressing Climate Anxiety Using Flash Fiction in the Classroom) that approaches speculation about climate change-related futures (expressed often in the form of ‘climate anxiety’) using the method of fiction-writing modules in classroom settings. The project is led by Associate Professor Bryan Yazell. Deadline for applications for the postdoc position is September 1, 2023. For more details, click here.
Bryan is also a co-PI of the new elite center PACA (Mobilizing Post-Anthropocentric Climate Action: A New Root Narrative) which is currently advertising a humanities PhD position, with a focus on post-anthropocentric narratives. Deadline for applications for the PhD position: August 25, 2023.
