Bryan Yazell receives research grant from Independent Research Fund Denmark
Addressing Climate Anxiety Using Flash Fiction in the Classroom
Associate Professor Bryan Yazell, who is a member of the Center for Uses of Literature and Fellow of the Danish Institute for Advanced Study (DIAS), has received funding from Independent Research Fund Denmark (Danmarks Frie Forskningsfond) for a new research project on the uses of literature in climate crisis. The project, 'Addressing Climate Anxiety Using Flash Fiction in the Classroom,' aims to mobilize young people to gain access to their imagined futures and to apply them in a meaningful way to navigate the anticipated consequences of climate change.
