Abstract:
As the world moves towards sustainable energy systems, the digitization of the energy sector plays a pivotal role in this transformative journey. Energy Informatics is at the forefront, providing the necessary bridge between advanced computational methods and energy systems management. This keynote will explore how Energy Informatics facilitates the digital transformation central to the green energy transition.

The talk will give examples of Energy Informatics application areas and discuss the importance of establishing Living Labs for testing new smart energy solutions in real life settings. 

Through this discourse, we aim to illuminate the pathways by which Energy Informatics not only supports but accelerates the green energy transition, fostering an ecosystem where digital solutions and energy sustainability unite to meet the climate challenges of our time.
