Entry requirements
To apply for the Master's degree programme in Computational Biomedicine, you need a relevant Bachelor's degree.
Your bachelor's degree must contain a minimum of 60 ECTS within biochemistry/genetics/molecular biology. A background in computer science science/mathematics/statistics/physics will no longer qualify for admission.
English language requirements
The programme is taught in English. If your Bachelor’s degree is not from SDU, you are required to submit proof of your proficiency in English. See the English language requirements.
Selection criteria
There is a limited number of study places in the programme.
If there are more qualified applicants than study places, applicants without a legal claim are selected based on an interview.
The interview will be based on the following criteria/questions:
- Demonstrate specific knowledge about the Master's program in Computational Biomedicine at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) in Odense.
- Reflect on the individual elements of the program.
- Describe your academic background and explain why this particular progamme is of interest to you.
As a Bachelor student at SDU, you can apply for permission to follow up to 30 ECTS Master-level courses even though you have yet to complete your Bachelor’s degree.
You can be granted permission if you have the necessary academic qualifications. The progression of your Bachelor’s programme is crucial to the outcome of your application.
