Biomedicine is the study of diseases at the molecular and cellular levels, bridging the gap between the fields of medicine and science.
Whereas a physician's primary focus is patient care, biomedics focus on understanding diseases at the molecular and cellular levels. Biomedics collaborate with physicians on research into the development of new methods for diagnosing diseases and new treatments based on the latest molecular biological knowledge.
In recent years, an enormous amount of knowledge has been gained about how normal, healthy cells work. Based on this knowledge, we can jow begin to understand diseases at a very detailed level.
The Master's degree programme in Biomedicine is offered only in Danish. Therefore, you must be able to prove Danish language proficiency in order to be admitted into the programme.
