Centre for Clinical Robotics is a joint centre between Odense University Hospital and the University of Southern Denmark. The centre is an integral part of the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the Faculty of Technology at the university and is anchored in the Department of Clinical Development as well as Facilities Management at the hospital. The interdisciplinary collaboration is the cornerstone for the research and implementation of robotic technology at Odense University Hospital.
The centre works closely with its sister centres Centre for Clinical Artificial Intelligence (CAI-X) and Centre for Innovative Medical Technology (CIMT), as well as with companies interested in robotic solutions.
The vision of the Department of Clinical Research is to create the patient treatment of the future through research and education in at strong collaboration with Odense University Hospital.
