For many the journey starts at KMEB
Over the years, many researchers have started their academic training at KMEB
Since its establishment in 2001, KMEB has trained numerous researchers in the area of molecular endocrinology and stem cell biology, who are now around the world pursuing career in academia or industry. Abbas Jafari is one of these graduates who joined KMEB in 2008 as a research trainee and later as PhD student. He is now associate professor at University of Copenhagen, and the main focus of his group is understanding the mechanisms of disturbed skeletal homeostasis in the context of inflammation and cancer. Abbas is still affiliated and has close collaboration with KMEB.
