Collaborations

The Ecotoxicology Group has been a member of the Danish Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals network since the foundation of the network in 2001. The network also includes research groups from Rigshospitalet and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). Since 2001 the Danish EPA has funded our work with the development of  test guidelines for endocrine disrupting chemicals.

Together with Rigshospitalet and DTU we established the Centre on Endocrine Disruptors (CeHoS) in 2008, funded by the Danish EPA. The main purpose of the Centre is to build and gather new knowledge on endocrine disrupters with the focus on providing information requested for the preventive work of the regulatory authorities.

We are involved in Blue SDU – an interdisciplinary network focusing on maritime research across five faculties. The mission is to perform interdisciplinary research, creating value and quality with relevance to society.

In addition we collaborate nationally with Aarhus University, DHI and regional authorities.

We have numerous international collaboration partners including research groups from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam,  University of Antwerp, University of Heidelberg, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, University of Oslo, University of Bern, Yokohama City University, Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Plymouth, French Institute for Agricultural Research (INRA), and Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology.
