Yudong is a Chinese environmental researcher. He is strongly interested in pollutant removal and resource recovery in wastewater treatment plants. He earned a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Wageningen University in 2021. During his master’s period, he worked in micropollutant removal by ozonation and ammonium recovery from wastewater.
In the RecaP project, Yudong takes the work of ESR 6 “P and Fe recovery from iron phosphate materials”. He will develop new approaches to separate Fe and P in Fe-P rich sludge, and produce iron raw material suitable for reuse and valuable fertilizer.
