Sven Ebel receives award
PhD student at POLIMA awarded a best poster presentation at NANOMeta2024
POLIMA PhD student, Sven Ebel, received a best poster presentation award from the journal Nanophotonics (De Gruyter) at the NANOMETA2024 conference in Seefeld in Tirol, Austria. His poster, titled "Shaping Free Electron Wavepackets with Structured Light," showcased work published in Communications Physics (https://www.nature.com/articles/s42005-023-01300-2) on the inelastic interaction of electrons with spatially structured light beams. Furthermore, it highlighted recent results on a novel method to achieve energy and momentum-manipulated free electrons in electron microscopes through their interaction with spatially structured light fields.
