Enabling formulations: Processing of nano-particulate drugs.

In a bottom-up process we are able to design nano-particles of different composition including polymers and natural ingredients. Spray drying using physiological phospholipids to make drug-loaded SPLN (solid phospholipid nanoparticles) is one example.

Chitosan nanoparticles have also been made.
