Kevin Blankinship

Kevin Blankinship is Assistant Professor of Arabic at Brigham Young University in America. He is currently writing a book about al-Ma`arri's and classical Arabic ascetic poetry (zuhdiyyat). In addition to academic journals, his writing has appeared in The Times Literary Supplement, The Spectator, The Atlantic, The Los Angeles Review of Books, and more.
