Rasmus W. Schmøkel is a PhD student at the Digital Democracy Centre and the Department for Political Science and Public Management at SDU.
He holds a master in political science from the University of Copenhagen. Before joining the DDC he has been a Data Scientist at PFA Asset Management and at the IT and Development Agency where he worked with fraud detection using artificial intelligence (Deep learning and Machine Learning).
His research focus on political communication, social media and algorithms. His research interest also include computational methods, ethical AI and the interplay between psychological mechanisms and Artificial Intelligence.
