I am an associate professor at CEBMO and Cochrane Denmark. I trained as a physician at University of Copenhagen and did a Master’s degree in clinical epidemiology at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. My PhD was on conflicts of interest in biomedical publishing. Besides my work as a researcher I work as a senior registrar in infectious diseases at Bispebjerg Hospital.
The focus of my research is on conflicts of interest in clinical research in particular in relation to industry-funded drug trials. I am interested in understanding how conflicts of interest may influence the design, conduct, analysis and reporting of clinical research. I am currently leading the development of TACIT (Tool for Addressing Conflicts of Interest in Trials included in Cochrane reviews).
