New PhD-student at OPEN
Emil Rossing is affiliated with OPEN as a PhD-student with the project: ”mimi - mHealth to increase measles immunization”.
Emil Rossing has a MA in Information Technology at Aarhus University. On August 1st 2015 Emil started his PhD project at OPEN, under the Institute of Clinical Research, entitled "mimi - mHealth to increase measles immunization". The project deals with the use of mobile phones for health interventions (mHealth) in the Global South. The project aims to implement and evaluate a mHealth solution to increase vaccination coverage against measles in Guinea-Bissau. A qualitative pre-study of the local context as well as a quantitative evaluation is scheduled in the form of a randomized control trial (RCT). The main supervisor is Henrik Ravn, associate professor of biostatistics at OPEN.
