BA Degree
American Studies is an interdisciplinary study that draws on several academic fields that must be included in order to ensure that students can understand and analyze American cultural identities and the changing relationship between the United States and the rest of the world.

1. semester:
- Introduction to American Studies (5 ECTS)
- Documentary America (5 ECTS)
- American Literature before 1922 (5 ECTS)
- American History (5 ECTS)
- American Politics (5 ECTS)
- Philosophy of Science I: The Humanities (5 ECTS)
2. semester:
- Theory and Method (5 ECTS)
- Oral Communication in English (5 ECTS)
- American Literature after 1922 (5 ECTS)
- America and the World (5 ECTS)
- American Business (5 ECTS)
3. semester:
- Written Communication in English (5 ECTS)
- Philosophy of Science II: American Studies as Meta-Science (5 ECTS)
- Business and the Markets in the United States(10 ECTS)
- Studies in Trans-Atlantic Relations (5 ECTS)
- 1 Elective Course (5 ECTS)
4. semester:
- Language and Society: USA (10 ECTS)
- Themes in American Literature and Culture (10 ECTS)
- Case Studies in American History (10 ECTS)
- 2 Elective Courses (5 ECTS each)
5. semester:
- 1 Elective Course (5 ECTS)
- BA project (15 ECTS)
